AVI Southeast innovative project for Nova Southeastern University.

AVI Southeast completed a project in the Alvin Sherman Library at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida.  The project is located in the Technology Innovation Center and provides state-of-the-art solutions in a contemporary learning setting.

The Stadium Seating Area utilizes a 4×4 video wall and displays on side and in the back to support video conferencing views.

In presentation mode all displays show the same active source. In videoconferencing mode the front and the rear panels display the far-end video.  To support panel discussions, the system contains (12) wireless microphones consisting of (4) wireless lavalier microphones and (8) wireless hand-held microphones and utilizes a total of (12) 8” ceiling speakers.

The system has the ability to show from 1 source up to 4 sources simultaneously at a time across the video wall and displays. Inputs include a dedicated PC for presentation, (2) Wireless Collaboration Devices, Polycom monitor 1 output, Polycom monitor 2 output, Podium PTZ camera and Audience PTZ camera.

A touch-panel is wall-mounted adjacent to the video wall and is utilized along with an iPad for mobile control via the control application.
